Pascal Untersander is the Risk Director in Schroder Adveq’s Risk Management Group. In this role, he is integral to Schroder Adveq’s enterprise and investment risk management efforts. Specifically, he is a key contributor to Risk Management to assess the risks in Schroder Adveq’s investment decision making and the risks occurring from existing investments independently from Investment Management. This includes process controls as well as independent evaluation of developments of investments. As such, he is also responsible for the ISAE 3402 Type 2 audit process in Investment Management and the GIPS reporting.
Prior to joining Adveq in 2012, Pascal worked as a portfolio manager with Bank Vontobel for institutional fixed income mandates for 4 years. His introduction to the private equity industry materialized as a result of founding his own e-commerce business in 2008.
Pascal is a graduate of the University of Applied Sciences Zurich (HWZ) in Economics and Business Administration, holds a Master in Arts Management from the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW) and the Certificate in Advanced Risk and Investment Management from Yale School of Management and EDHEC-Risk Institute.
